What is Sacred Femininity?

I am so eager to have one of my worldwide teachers in town, describing  just what we are learning and teaching here seemed perfect. Sacred femininity is about building a deeper feminine culture for woman than just gathering to share products, stories and venting our lives. It is about discussion of our issues, our ways to bring womanhood into a male modeled business system, discussing self nurturing and what that means, how we reconnect with ourselves when we are overwhelmed, exhausted and burnout. It is about beauty and our bodies when our culture has us doing distortions to ourselves and expectations of youth and looks that is just so off balance. How do we love ourselves, our bodies, our uniqueness in a world that has such limited thinking on these things? It is about all these and more, what woman need to be having discussions about and learning ways that woman nourished and nurtured themselves when they had a stronger community that had a deeper spirit based culture.

We are in a time and gaining power and influence that has not ever been created before with the conditions of our world. As we do this, we need each other, we need our collaborative web to be larger, we are developing this all together as the world opens to our leadership in areas that we have not been in before. There are all kinds of woman's groups about that we can build with. The community here is to go deeper than business ideas and connections. Deeper than marketing and networking. It is about being a woman and the uniqueness of that and how we strengthen and honor ourselves to be authentic and joyful amidst such schedules and programs. It is uniting us in ways that are not typical or part of our culture as an average woman. It is all in the making and it has so inspired me to put forth these teaching, these practices, these gatherings because it is awakening parts of me that nothing else has.

It is an unfolding time and I am excited to tend and befriend more woman as we create a more balanced world.
