The Secret offered so many people a new look at life. A new way to navigate their feelings and access a different way of operating in the world, tips to notice their feeling state and ways to shift into clearer thinking. It is beyond positive thinking, it is called positive focus!
When things are going horribly, positive thinking, thinking things are okay when they are not does nothing for your vibration or feelings. It is putting a happy face on things which doesn't help if the situation when you don't fully notice and feel your feelings. Positive focus is different. You see the struggle or challenge, you feel the fear, panic, doubt, and you consciously shift to focus on a outcome that works for you. So there is quite a difference. Thinking things will get better when you don't feel that or are in a moment of doubt won't help as powerfully as knowing you are in a jam, Wow, I am certainly in a quagmire, then consciously decide that this is not going to effect where you are going. It is a subtle difference yet a powerful one.
Positive focus is about knowing where you are, feeling the challenge and emotions that go with it and then deciding to put your intention on where you are going. Focusing on a positive direction. You can always choose this, it has not so much to do with your thinking good things, it is more of a feeling that despite current conditions you are focused on moving in the direction you want. It is powerful because it is an aware state, a state that allows you to feel in control of yourself despite what is outside you. You always have control of your vibration. You can shift from what if and the negative to the what if and the positive. What if this comes together perfectly toward my enrichment? What if this is just clarifying my desire? What if I have done my homework and am going along perfectly and this current crisis is just a teaching tool? These types of questioning get us back to the expansive mind, the possibilities so positive focus can help us. Subtle but powerful, a wonderful tool for shifting!
Keep noticing your focus! Thinking your not in a traffic jam when you are is silly. Noticing you are in a traffic jam, realizing you can do nothing to change the conditions and cranking out some great tunes while you sit there knowing you will move eventually and get where you are going is positive focus! There are many obstacles, seeing beyond the obstacle rather than pretending it isn't so big moves you quicker through the course! Positive focus!
