Life is a journey of purpose. We seem to be on many journeys large and small, as we grow, expand and gain experience. Some are clear. You know what is to be done, you take action and things get completed. Others are more of an daydream in twilight. You feel strongly directed, you take action and the world shifts, the conditions change and you are in a transformation that keeps the completion changing and eluding you. Our journeys range in all levels of ourselves, inward and out in the world.
I share my journey with you so you remember that all comes to fruition. All has purpose and some things take so many years to actually come forward in the outer world. I wrote my book, The Lotus Project the Art Of Being a Woman in 2013. It is now 2017, 4 years later and it seems to have been created for this time in my life and the lives of woman. My business mind has had disagreement with this many times. I was so heart inspired with the learning that created this book. Filled with simple basics that don't even begin to explain the transformation that inspired me to write it. I wanted to support woman in an easy way, from any level to begin this deep awakening.
I was in transition at the time of writing it and never gave it the attention to promote, share and work that is necessary to make a book successful. I began many times but got deterred through life's processes. Those who read it always asked me if I had gotten it out, moved it forward for they felt so awakened by it but my life was filled with more important things. I would do the usual berating of self that I never took the right actions, let it slip by, a reason to not feel good about the project I put such heart and felt so purposeful about.
There was a thrust on my farm to create a venue of teaching in the healing and expressive arts that this book inspired. I ended up moving on from the farm and so it never got completed there either. Then an opportunity to have a spa with the Lotus Project inspired theme. Again to turn others on to the principles and experiences in the book. Such heart and work I put forth in that as well. It went up in smoke. I met an old high school friend who had lots of "hobby cash" as he called it, after I asked for an investor to create a healing place, but that too went into a whole different learning. I think he perhaps thinks I am a bit eccentric and crazy. Great ideas, magic as I began to do them and then as my book, they dropped out and I was again in that hazy place of what is all this about?
I continued to share classes in small form, share my book but I felt unclear why I had such an inspiration and drive to do this and yet every path I created to express this learning, this heart inspired purpose never amounted to a solid idea. As we go about our lives, there are so many of these ideas, these synchronicities, these signs that are so powerful and then another side line comes along and we get confused as to the path. Since it is a purpose, as we get through loop after loop, we recover, get to the core of the knowing and again seek ways to manifest that purpose in yet another new way.
You are told that one day it will be clear, that the universe works toward your great becoming and often the larger picture we can not see. You put trust in words like this, have faith that highest good will come in and you will get that Ahhhhhh, I understand it now. Patience a big factor in some journeys that seem to be anything but a straight path.
So here I am in February 2017 and the past year I have again had opportunity to share the healing and expressive arts, the ideas that inspired my book, teach as well as support others to get their wisdom out and my book is still alive and moving. Last year my book had more sales than ever. I am actually doing all the ideas in yet a new mix of conditions that are actually manifesting finally! I say that will exclamation for I feel as though this soul journey has taken lifetimes!!
When I look about me in the world, the political conditions, the rights of woman, the responses to these things, I see why now this purpose is finally moving ahead at its own timing. It is as if it was created for this time, the purpose had to work through me and through the ways it could manifest. There was still great inner learning I had to do with this purpose and outer conditions needed to shift to support this idea being welcomed in the world.
I am still uncertain exactly how this all plays out for I have spent years in visualization, planting the seeds of the ideas, seeing visions of what this all was. Yet I do feel this book, the ideas in it, the outcrops of teaching and inspirations of my blog, my site, my videos, my organization of The Room at Meadowbrook, all play a piece in this deep purpose that began so long ago. Each a piece in the greater picture and the greater service I am involved with.
Woman need great support at this time. Our roles, our health, our ideas of happiness, of self care, of exercise, of nourishing, of being in the world are so overextended and out of balance. We are shifting our role since the 50's and it is still mixing within us how to find our place in the world with our gifts but not killing ourselves and our joy by being everything. We can not do that and be happy and use our divine feminine gifts fully. All has its place and timing. We still figuring our way of art and creative expression in the world as woman. Especially with all our growth being questioned, challenged and reviewed.
I see it all as good for we need to reset ourselves and our roles in our world and the world at large. It happened to me when I learned from the Himalayan Wise Others and my journey has been to recreate my place in my world and the larger world. This is part of this time, happening to us all as we learn to understand nourishing of ourselves, our spirit, those around us and how we want the larger community to connect and grow. Yes, it is a challenging time but as with my mission, I have no doubt it will all come into something beautiful as we make the changes within us.
The feminine awakening it is called. The local movement, the green movement and the woman's movement are all connected to this art of nourishing that has been lost in production. It is not just about woman but the feminine principle in us all needs to balance and come forward in its perfect blend with production. Creating and creating with no one really connecting and supporting all this creation is depleting us and our world.
It has been spoken of for ages and the Aquarian Age of collaboration versus the individual is rolling in. It is an important shift and the old will not disappear easily. Me, Mine, I is a strong power. Yet woman especially, know the power of the we, us and ours. Our community spirit and nourishing of the great humanity about us is our gift that is being redirected and recalled to remember this balance.
So keep open, keep faith, keep trust and hope in your journeys large and small. Those deep seated ideas, heart inspired dreams will find their way in the the right time. Not easy to hear I know. Yet as I realize the power of my journey of feminine grace, I see that a moment before this time for me to shine large would not have as much impact or power as it will today, in these conditions. And I was not as clear and strong in this purpose as I am in this moment. I have used and worked this way of being for over 8 years to reset my view of myself as a woman. Now it is time to really share this experience deeply,
Life is art. The canvas can be adjusted, added too and repainted! It constantly is whether we go with it or not. Stay true to yourself and your spirit. All will come forward in your journey as will in mine. Patience, joy and hope for the best of ourselves to come forward in our own unique brilliant way we must trust. We will. Our conditions will catch up to our purpose, our heart will refine and all factors in the universe will support us exactly as it is to be.
