The Sun

Ahhhh yes..... the Sun

The bright, the happy, the warm

I need that today,

I need that everyday.

I can be like the sun,

Bright, sparkly, happy, inspiring,

Supporting others to grow, 

To nourish and to shine.

I know that is my mission

most days,

When I don't feel it

I can go outside and find the sun.

It doesn't always shine

Clouds get in the way.

I get clouds too.

Yet the sun is still shining,

We just can't see it.

So today I will remember that too.

Even if I don't see it, feel it or sense it,

My sun shines within.

Doesn't mean it doesn't exist if I don't feel bright.

It just means there's some clouds

Blocking that vision of myself.

I will remember to let the wind blow,

Find something nourishing to do.

And soon enough like the sun,

I will be back in my shining way.

That soothes me to remember!
