Techniques for Health and Wellness on Many Levels

Health and Wellness exist on many levels. The physical level is just one and often times mental and emotional patterns feed into our physical health. Part of the holistic movement is to deal with ourselves as a whole being, including spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. Often health issues are dealt with physically as symptoms and our other patterns are creating the problems so it just come back to us in the same form or another.

I have been inspired enough to make this part of my life study. I enjoy learning from all systems and philosophies ways to have a happier life. I offer classes that allow us to tap into the greater levels of health that help align ourselves in mind, body and spirit. Practical ways and movements that are easy to learn, add into our hectic schedule and get more health through doing things that inspire on many levels at once.

 Perhaps I am more lazy and want to engage in things that will provide health across the board, more concentrated knowing I am doing things on many levels at once and allowing more time for living. Nutrition and movement are just things we must do and there need not be all this time spent on it. Keeping our bodies healthy so we can move through life enjoying our work, our family, our friends and experiences. It doesn't have to take hours each day nor do I have time for that. It must be done, I teach how to do it easily and wisely so you may have great energy for the real living in life.

 I am  seeking to teach  these classes at  health and wellness places about as well as here at The Lotus Project. I enjoy these practices mostly outside because then you also get the added benefit of healing in nature. However, this is valuable life information that we all can use easily, practically and with out alot of time and thinking about. Join me in learning about the deeper levels of healing.

Tia Chi Morning Practices: Learn simple movements each morning to get your body awakened and your organs and flexibility working. Age comes from losing flexibility and tightness in our joints through arthritis and pain. Chinese medicine has much history about the body, organs, meridians and ways to keep your energy fluid and vital. Attending a few times, you will be able to learn and do these at home during your day for greater vitality. I am part of an oral  tradition in the ancient line, Dragon's Gate.

Feminine Fitness Class: A woman's body is built very differently and movements to enhance our hormones and systems are important to learn. Woman move more fluidly, have a nourishing, collaborative energy. It is important for our body health to understand this, oxytocin our relaxed creative hormone and movements that support this energy in our bodies. Regimented workouts build more masculine energy in our bodies which we also have. Our current health crisis in our wombs, hearts and breasts, and thyroid are not supported by this movement. We need to move in ways opposite to this to balance our everyday stress and enhance our feminine systems and energy.

Breast Health: In Tibetan Medicine there is a daily breast massage that woman should be using to enhance breast health and support the action of the many lymph nodes about our heart. Often our breast are only noticed when we massage them looking for cancer. There is more attention and care that we need to give this important area of the body with breast cancer and heart attacks high on the list of woman's health issues. Attending this class once will give you a wonderful way to connect with your body, understand this area and offer you a life long practice to care for that heart breast center of the body.

Aharaj Yoga: Basic martial art practice that is the foundation of Kung Fu and many traditions of self defense. We use this form of yoga to understand negative emotions: stress, anxiety, anger, panic, etc and how to move this through our bodies healthfully. These emotions are part of living and so to release and even use these emotions to our benefit  as part of our forward moving force is very practical. These energies are important and can be used positively when noticed and transformed. After a few classes you will understand the energy of these emotions, how they  can ill effect you and the amount of energy you have to move through life as well as have simple techniques to use to transform them as they come up in life. Your will be able to regain focus and even use these challenging emotions of intense energy towards your goals.  We are not properly taught about energy, especially these so called negative emotions and how to use it consciously in our daily life.

Modern Femininity: Understanding oxytocin, the feminine hormone that relaxes and relieves stress is the focus of these classes. This is important information for all woman in understanding their body health and how emotions and mind are effected in the hormonal systems. We are in adrenaline most of the time which is  very dangerous to woman's bodies versus men's. Cortisol and adrenaline burnout are common to woman these days. Understanding how the body feels in the parasympathetic nervous system vs the sympathetic nervous systems is extremely important for woman's health. Learning to feel that body in relaxed response creating is essential for woman at this time in living with health and purpose. We must feel this shift and then retrain our systems to be in parasympathetic nervous system most of our time for more joy, more vitality and more health. Currently, we are burning ourselves out!

Woman's Health Series: A deeper 4 week study of the woman's body and feminine energy of oxytocin. Each class has a focus on different aspects and practices to enhance our state of creating in a relaxed safe way. Health, beauty, magnetism and power are the topics. Each week will offer a discussion and easy ways to create this in your life, thus retraining your body to a more healthful pace and use of energy for woman. Working with our bodies is not strenuous or unnatural. When woman learn ways of being a woman it is natural and easy for us. Ways to generate good feelings as well as total health for our feminine bodies.

I invite you to learn with me these wonderfully practical ways to move, increase oxygen, understand how to use your energy rightly, and add tremendous health to your being quite easily without all this workout. Our bodies naturally balance when given honor and movements that help it do its job. I look forward to teaching health and wellness in an effort to have a happier life.
