When woman collaborate there is a wonder of universal energy that supports them as I was taught. As the life bearers, we have a nature instinct for highest good or good of all. We are the community spirit of the two genders. Not that men are not, but this is part of the natural gift of femininity. We were designed as the nourishers, creatives, collaborators, sacred space holders, community gatherers. We provide harmony to many situations and blend many diverse factors into a beautiful mix. It is just part of our art. As the Mother Earth has much diversity and some how it all harmonizes, we are that element in the human kingdom.
Our community of woman, is not always so collaborating and has much judgment towards each other that truly is not our natural way. Those who work, those who stay home, often have differences. Those who have vs. those who don't, physical beauty vs. plane Jane's, athletic vs. less active, Martha stewards vs. potluck girls, so many different extremes of woman that often creates a split in our feminine community. So much time wasted in these "cat fights" or gossip about each other that is useless. It is hurtful, uncomfortable and unnecessary. We are the ones who can handle contrast and difference so easy. This conflict among us creates disturbance in our lives when our power is created through uniting and supporting each other. We are the heart centered gender.
Image if we as woman, stopped all the silly, caddy behavior amongst ourselves and supported our girls to do the same. Those who had much, helped those who didn't. Whether you were career girl or stay at home mom, you supported each other. Those who had beauty supported those who don't helping them celebrate their beauty. Those who had talents shared and taught those who needed more of that gift. This collaboration happens consistently day after day. I am inviting us all to participate in even more of it.
We are the spirits of community where we all chip in and it makes a dance of our gifts and talents. Ease and grace is our way with each other and our worlds. These feminine traits are often lost in our business and they are very necessary to our world. In Ancient times, there was a Red Tent where woman supported each other on so many levels that is missing today.
Rather than what shoes one is wearing or what car one drives, we should be banding together to support each other in whatever way we can. It is our nature. We are so diverse and our kindness and loving qualities are natural with our child bearing body. Competition is a masculine trait and way of being, it is not feminine by laws of nature. As a collective we could do more for our gender by remembering we all are woman. We have the same problems, strives, worries for our children and families. We may solve our problems differently yet we face the same challenges.
Imagine if as a gender were more open to each other and the issues woman face across the globe. Our universal collaborative power could do so much with this wasted time in activities that are not part of our higher expression. Remembering our innate way of being, honoring each other in our differences would support all our causes. We tolerate difference very easily. Men have an "old boy" network and support each other quite well. We have more division in our gender then men. I hope this march unites us in deep levels remembering we are all unique and beautiful in our own way. Our daily support of each other, not just our friends or family, but all woman could truly help our greater world.
May this day be the day that after so many stood together, we support each other in life. Whether you believe in the issues of the march, marched or did not, it was a beautiful display of common cause for woman. Equality amongst ourselves would be a powerful action. It would enhance our daily lives by feeling supported by each other in our journey as a woman. Inclusiveness in our gender would make our efforts in whatever we do more powerful.
I invite you all to be more open to woman in your world. Don't participate in caddy behavior, the gossip, the judgment of others. We do not know what is going on for people and our love, tenderness, respect and support are the most valuable tools we offer as woman. We are the nourishers and nurturers. Lets all claim this innate gift in a deeper way as we move forward. It will bring in magic to our world.
