The Art Of Beauty!

To feel beautiful in today's world with so many mixed ways people are trying to savor it, is quite a practice as a woman. The great wonder of it is that you feel a beauty inside you that you never had when you were young. In getting to know yourself more over life makes you feel pretty in a different way. You get a settling in to yourself that brings its own beauty.

On the outside there are far too many images that don't even make sense, worries about aging, as though we are going to stop the process of getting older. Our bodies are in a different cycle, beauty is still about us as we grow wiser, we just need to embrace that we will not look 20 anymore. Many of us have daughters and would never go back there again, happily we pass the torch on to the next leg of beautiful girls.

We can look beautiful, we are still woman and so it is natural for us at any age, to be beautiful!   When we chose to cooperate with our bodies and honor the beauty we have. We can do all the same things we have done with our makeup, hairstyles and clothing tricks. No these won't make us look 20. Do we really want that?

Beauty isn't just about the raw material you start with. It is about the accents, accessories, adornments, clothing style, hair style, many other things than just our skin or faces. It always has been, no matter what age, we always enjoyed fluffing up our look.

I was inspired to share this photo as I surfed through the cover shots for my book. There are all kinds of pictures we took that sunrise, sometimes the fabric drape uncovered me and I was exposed. To me the most delightful pictures of myself where when the other elements were on, leg position, tilted head, feather necklace, all together created the most beautiful look, like the shoes, shaw and leg above. I feel beauty in this picture. It was the makeup highlighting the sparkle in  my eyes, or the feather in my hair, or the contrast with the lotus background that enhanced my natural loveliness,  it wasn't just me and my beauty. It was the other things of beauty I added to myself, the angle or the way she captured me, of course her artistry of showcasing me, It had more allure, more mystery, more seduction and magnetism than the me alone. That sense of charm and mystery, art and grace of things were captured through Terree's beautiful eye.

It brought up this important shift. Being beautiful isn't just me and my body with its curvy and wrinkly parts. It is the way I present myself, the care I take to fluff up that makes me beautiful. The things I add in the artistry of presenting myself and the care I take there makes for the beauty at no matter what age. So beauty can be achieved at any age when style, color, adornment are used to enhance your nature way. Perfect learning! Part of the art of self love. To behold yourself as beautiful and accent your highlights is the truly the key to being enchanting!

Join in on our clothing swap tonight, November 8th as we share adorning pieces to showcase our beauty for the holidays!
