The Company of Woman Strengths Us!

Today I had a full on girl day celebrating woman because it is Mothers Day Weekend. I started at Sweet Escapes Lingere store meeting some friends who were getting alluring photos.  It was so fun seeing different body and personality types, get makeup and hair and then adorn themselves sensually for shots of their beauty. What a wonderful time is was to see all the beauty that we hide and shyness we feel about ourselves! To see us together honor our own ways and capture it to remind ourselves of our magnificence at any age, in any body. Expressions of beauty! Joyous it was!

I brought my friend from Gettysburg back to the farm to have a Herbal Spa Experinece we hosted next. We walked and learned some herbs to help us calm and strengthen us. Then we did an organic scrub, a mineral mud mask while soaking our feet chit chatting about the things of woman. Honoring ourselves, sharing our tales, rejuvenating our spirits and faces. So nourishing it was.

I do believe there was a Red Tent at a time when monthly woman did gather during their menstration cycle. Ever 28 days or so, I believe we gathered together and nourished each other, allowed quitetude, beautified each other, danced and sang, communed to strengthen our spirit through being together. We did this monthly, where we relaxed, old and young, woman learning about ourselves in community. Older teaching younger, learning our ways of beauty, sexuality, magnetism. I believe it was deeper than the experience we have now and it was necessary for our growth and development of self love.

I also love men, they inspire me, they delight me, they entertain me, they take care of me. Yet if I am not in my power as a woman, how do I join with a man properly? Woman teach me to be cozy in my skin, help me learn about the loveliness of being a girl, how we are different and sacred. How being a nourisher of my family, I must first learn to nourish myself. I see the great value in learning about myself so I may be strong in my femininity when I am with a man. Enjoying the delights of him and him of me in the complementary way we were meant to connect.

 To be a strong, beautiful alluring lady,  I must nourish myself first with other woman in my femininity. Then I have great magnetism and sense of me so I can go enjoy the opposite sex. I believe the Red Tent in some form must be recreated for woman to remember their flowing nature, their sensual way. Thats how we build our beauty and power as woman, in the company of each other, providing nurturing that we can't get from other sources. Then we can go out in the world and collaborate, connect and create the joy and delight we are here to provide.
