Head Learning vs Wisdom

I have spend my whole life investigating out of the box thinking. I am a perennial student and my daughter often asked, Why are you studying?  I have consumed so many books on so many philosophies that seem contrasting and opposing. I just love to learn and am intrigued by how others see things.

Our culture is really built on the mind, the brain, the words, the logical tangible learning of books. Of people speaking at us at lectures, our classrooms the model for learning. We all have so many things stuffed in our head about so much, some we use, others just stored in the annals. All our great thinkers seemed to struggle in this type of environment.

I suddenly got tired of it all. Listening, reading, filling my mind.  Maybe it is my age, maybe just got filled up or maybe a deeper awareness came about. It seemed like we are just on the surface of things, lots of words, dealing with too many details, making it complex and boring. It seems so inactive, so passive really and certianly didn't engage all of me, only my mind.

Wisdom comes from something so different than mindness. It has mind, ideas, words and thinking but it has so much more. It is a knowing of being. It seems like 10 more layers than the mind. It shifts it all to a smile and a settling that is so different than getting something in the mind. Often it is an experience more, with emotion, an exercise, the mind and the other levels all working at once in unison. Where you just know and maybe even words can't even begin to explain it. A deep experience more is what makes wisdom so rich. Way beyond intellectual.

It is the age, from Picean thinking, right and wrong to Aquarian thinking, blending and culminating.  If it is the time I am on board. If we are changing or evolving our capacity I feel it.  It is as though only experience, presence, really being in it that seems fun. The rest is weighted, stuffed and full. There seems to be a greatness about that I may miss if I get to caught up in the repetitive, analytical lower mind, not the higher capacity thinking. It seems that a great wisdom, an experience in how we operate is shifting and I am very glad to notice. I invite this wisdom way to take me over. I am more interested in that than more information. It is what inspired the Lotus Project to make self awareness, wisdom settle in, stimulating all my senses.  Moving into a being that the yogis speak of.  You are experiencing what is about instead of thinking about it. I like this way! It makes life richer and easier and happier. Becoming the bloom that is the  culmination of all the things we used in growing.
