One dances purpose is in gratitude to all my teachers, the support and people behind me. At first I would dance thinking "oh thank you for helping me" from a small girls eyes as though I was so needing of help. In a student way. As I have practiced a different view has come to me. From dancing I realized that it is more of a dance for the support I recieve. It is the joy of being taught and supported by a "We" so to speak. The earth supports me on the physical level so I feel the ground and energy under my feet. The different authors and teachers support me in using the knowledge I learned. In practicing knowledge there is additional energy from the knowledge of different systems of thinking, energy of those ideas and those others that think those ideas is supporting and available to me and all who use the knowledge.
In Aharaj yoga we call these eggregors. Energy fields created by lifestyles, cultures, families, communities etc.. Some of them are positive, some not so. When you tap into a positive eggregor, you are connected to all the high ideals of it, the subtle energy of high impressions back you. So my dance to my supporters has shifted to feeling so grounded and supported by the energy of all the schools and communities I am part of. Part of a "we" energy, perfect where I am, happy to move ideas and projects fueled by invisible support, energy available to me as I create. More of a supported creator than one needing help.
Dancing offers you joy, once in joy you can start to shift some of your views, feeling all is well, a practice in gratitude. To spend 15 minutes being greatful each day in movement, a dynamic meditation, generates additional energy to tap into so your may be supported in your creations by the collaborative universal. In a group there is more power. Your groups, your support offers great energy as you create, notice and utilize this feeling of knowing you truly are never alone! There is a ton of energy out there for you once to consciously tap into it! Dancing is an easy tool to raise your vibe by tapping into the grace that already exists in your life! Moving your hips is so supportive to a womans system. How often do you move your hips in many ways? There is grace and hidden power in the svadisthana chakra located in the womb is called "the souls dwelling place" by Deepok Chopra. This is magical and powerful movement for woman that helps them in connecting to their bodies. We are the greatest creators on the planet, we just need to remember that! Sway to the rhythm is a effecting teaching in empowerment!
