Any wedding I participate in is on its way to being green! Using organic flowers and a local farm is an easy way to keep the local green principle. I am excited by the brides that care about the environment and the local culture enough to include them in their gala! I have worked with such creative girls bringing organic flowers to brides, always inspired by the artistry in the way they pull the green theme throughout their wedding.
Currently, I am preparing for Monica's wedding at Bartram Gardens. She lives in California and found me on the web looking for a local grower. She spent the last few months collecting a rustic medicine bottles, old kitchen tins, blue and green glass vases, pitchers, syrup bottles, to name some of the mix she found on Etsy. Mixed in groupings dabbling about 16foot. long home style tables will be her rustic creativity filled with flowers! Exciting when you get to work with containers that are all different and blended. We also created a Chuppah out of cedar tree poles to adorn with flowers that will look amazing among the gardens. I am very excited to see her unique blend of containers with my flowers decorating her big day!
Each bride has taken the green ideas of saving, recycling, and reusing to their individual unique presentation that represents how they live more consciously about the planet. It is truly a great future trend that the Royal Wedding highlighted. Elegance, sophistication and green thinking go together perfectly. I will post photos so you can see this lovely event!
